It’s official! We have been in our new home for (drum roll)…2 years now! I can’t believe how quickly time has flown since we have moved in. Each room in our home is beginning to feel “complete” but I say that loosely because there are always things I like to tweak & re-arrange. I guess a better term would be to say our new, once empty, house finally feels like home.
A couple of weeks ago I shared some shots of our kitchen & some new window treatments I made. It really made our kitchen feel complete. I can’t take create for making our new roman shades from scratch so I am going to share an AWESOME diy roman shade tutorial I found.

And here is the finished product…
I found the BEST diy roman shade tutorial from the Addicted2Decorating.com blog. Here is a direct link to her roman shade tutorial: HERE
Thank you, Kristi, for the amazing tutorial!
(disclaimer: I think this diy would be a little difficult for a first time sewer due to some of the special stitching involved. But if you have patience & are ready for some trail & error I defiantly think you can tackle this really fun project!)
Oh, here is my favorite ALL TIME sink cleaner! (and I have tried out MANY)
